Tyneside Badminton Centre are delighted to be supporting Newcastle Foodbank this winter, inviting all customers to take part in a seasonal effort to assist local families and individuals facing hardship.

A designated drop-off point will be set up in the centre’s reception area from Monday 17 November, where players, spectators, and community members are encouraged to donate whatever they can.

Alongside food items, the centre is also collecting non-food essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and toilet paper, products that are often in high demand but less frequently donated.

Amy Kirsopp, Centre Manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be supporting a local charity that carries out such amazing work in our community.

Newcastle Foodbank makes a real difference to people’s lives, and we’re proud to play even a small part in helping them support those who need it most.”

Donations will be welcomed until Sunday 17 December, after which all collected items will be transported to Newcastle Foodbank. There, the contributions will be sorted and distributed to people across the region who rely on the service for support during the winter months.

Visitors can drop off items during the centre’s usual opening hours.
