Tyneside Badminton Centre is delighted to announce the continued sponsorship from TORQ Fitness.
The renewed partnership builds on a successful initial agreement and sees TORQ continuing to support the Centre through product supply and on-site engagement, helping enhance nutrition experience for players, coaches and the wider badminton community.
As part of the association, TORQ will provide access to their wide range of natural, science-led performance nutrition products, supporting players of all ages, at every level. In addition, TORQ will deliver tasting sessions at the centre on key calendar dates throughout the year, giving players the opportunity to sample products, learn more about fuelling performance and engage directly with the brand.
The centre delivers badminton opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, and support from sponsors such as TORQ plays a vital role in helping the centre invest in its facilities, programmes and people.
Speaking on the renewal, Amy Kirsopp, Centre Manager, said: “We’re incredibly thankful to TORQ for continuing their support of the centre. Sponsorship from businesses like TORQ is hugely important to us – it allows us to enhance what we offer and improve the overall experience for everyone who uses the centre.
The renewed agreement strengthens the relationship between Tyneside Badminton Centre and TORQ, bringing together community sport and performance-focused support. Through ongoing sponsorship, product supply and on-site activity across the year, the partnership is designed to add value for players both on and off the court.
The addition of on-site tasting sessions and access to TORQ’s natural nutrition products adds real value for our players, and we’re proud to continue building this relationship.”
Richard Samuels, Sales & Marketing Director at TORQ, commented: “We’re extremely pleased to continue our sponsorship of Tyneside Badminton Centre – an iconic venue for one of the most exciting sports there is.
Traditionally, sports nutrition has been closely associated with endurance athletes such as cyclists and runners, but TORQ’s mission is to empower badminton players, and racket sports enthusiasts more broadly, to optimise their performance before, during and after their time on court.
There is no better partner to help us deliver this education and showcase our innovative, research-proven performance nutrition range than Tyneside Badminton Centre.”
The renewed sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to supporting active lifestyles, performance and community sport, and marks another positive step in Tyneside Badminton Centre’s work with partners who help make sport accessible and sustainable for the long term.
