Tyneside Badminton Centre is thrilled to announce that they will be running a pickleball social doubles tournament next month.
Whether you are a pickleball enthusiast or a new player to the sport, this event offer a chance for recreational players to engage with like-minded people and have a great time on the court.
On Sunday 16, June, participants can expect to play against a variety of pairs with their own pre-arranged partner. Pairings can either be mixed, ladies, or mens but will all pairs will play with eachother. This is suitable for players who do not currently hold a DUPR rating and do not have much experience in competitive pickleball tournaments.
Participants can expect a competitive yet friendly atmosphere at this event, where they will have the opportunity to test their abilities and challenge themselves.
The event will will run 10:00-15:00.
Players are required to bring their own bat – balls will be provided.
