Building on strong foundations, Tyneside Badminton Centre and the Northumberland Badminton Association are growing their working relationship.
Striving to become more than a venue, TBC will be collaborating with the NBA to focus on improving participation in badminton across the region and assist to support the longevity of the NBA structure.
With a focus on development, the partnership of TBC and the NBA will establish key areas and work to assist clubs, players and coaches to grow the game from grassroots to county level.
The introduction of a Development Officer role will allow an on the ground link to clubs, groups and individuals, and provide a strong communication channel to both the centre and the NBA.
Feedback from those within the game is crucial, and both TBC and the NBA are looking forward to, together, improving participation levels and growing the game, for the benefit of all players, and the future of the sport.
